Special Fundraisers

This weekend we will host two very special fundraisers for our community; one for the Pallative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home and the second for the RCSCC 323 Cadets.

Many of you have probably recently seen the interview on CBC of a very brave , kind, helpful & generous lady, Jessie MacCrady. Jessie is in the Pallative Care Unit at the Prince Edward Home at the present time, and she has a dream to sell cookbooks and to donate the proceeds to this unit that supports and prepares so many people, family and friends for this new journey in their life.

On Saturday between the hours of 10am- 2 noon Sandra Walker will be taking pre-paid orders ($10/copy) Book pick-up will be last of June, and will be announced via this newsletter. Many thanks in advance from both the organizers and Jessie as she once again gives back to the community at this stage of her own personal journey.

The second event is on Saturday from 4-6pm for the RCSCC 323 Blue Heron Cadet troupes Spaghetti Dinner which is $11/ Adult & $6/ Child, tickets can be purchased at the door.
