Farm Week
This week we celebrate our four legged friends with Dog Shows @ 8:30 am on both Saturday & Sunday and don’t forget to visit our Petting Farm where you’ll see mini-horses, chickens, goats, pigs, lama’s and much more!
Dog Awareness Fun ~ Meet the Breed Day ~ 9:30-3:30pm
Held by Canine Association PEI
Come on out for a day-about-dogs! Come set up a kennel and sun shade free of charge, you don’t have to be camping here to participate, feel free to join!
Events being offered these two days include:
-Dog toe-nail cutting: $5.00
-Canine Good Neighbour Testing: $25.00 (This testing is done to test the temperament of a dog. Should the dog pass, they will be issued a CGN Certificate from the Canadian Kennel Club. Lots of places will allow dogs to stay if the owners know the dogs have passed this test!)
-Photo Shoot; includes 1- 8×10 print for only $25.00
-Rally-O Ring
-Blue Ribbon Pet Supplies will have a booth with “goodies” for your pets!
-Charity’s Creations make and sell dog beds, crate pads of all sizes, and other items for dogs and will have a booth
-Information booths about the following breeds: Silkys, Pekingese, Samoyeds, Miniature Long-Haired Dachshunds, Standard Poodles, Great Danes, Miniature Poodles, Paillons, German Shepherds, Shetland Sheepdogs, Barbets, Havanese, Smooth Collies, Rough Collies, Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds, Belgian Tervurens, and West Highland White Terriers just to name a few!
Cavendish Trolley
Don’t forget we have a taxi service available from the campground. Cavendish Trolley is availaible for the Cavendish area at $3.00 per person each way; as well tours can be arranged. Call 963-2352 to book your taxi or tour service
